Dr. Gullapalli joined DNS in 2014 as the Director of Formulation and responsible for all preformulation, analytical and formulation activities. Prior to joining DNS, Dr. Gullapalli served as a Vice President of Product Development and Manufacturing at Pharmaceutics International, Inc., where he was responsible for product development of oral dosage forms. He also served in various scientific positions with increasing responsibilities at Élan Corporation (Perrigo), Chiron Corporation (Novartis), Purdue Pharma, Banner Pharmacaps and R.P. Scherer (Catalent). During his career, Dr. Gullapalli has had extensive experience in the development and manufacturing of a broad range of dosage forms including softgel, liquid-filled hard capsule, nanosuspension, immediate and controlled release products. Dr. Gullapalli holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics form the University of Tennessee, Memphis, M.Pharm. in Pharmacology from Andhra University (India) and B.Pharm. from Kakatiya University (India). He authored/co-authored several publications in professional journals and presentations at national conferences. He is also an inventor/co-inventor of several patents.
