Kenneth Dart President
Kenneth Dart indirectly owns Dart NeuroScience (DNS) through another company. He also serves on the Board of Directors of DNS. Through Dart NeuroScience, he has sponsored the DNS/NYU awards in biotechnology for more than ten years. Ken Dart has also caused DNS to work with the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA. Outside of his interest in advancing technologies to reduce memory loss, Ken continues to consult with Dart Container Corporation, his family's business that is the world's leading manufacturer of foam cups and many other plastic foodservice products. A heavily vertically integrated company, Dart Container produces its own resins, builds its own production equipment, produces its own packaging film and printing inks, and delivers products on its own truck fleet, Dart is well positioned to grow its business in the coming years and decades. In addition to Dart Container, Ken Dart is involved in recreational and commercial real estate development and retail operations. In the Cayman Islands, where many of these activities are based, Ken owns and is on the Board of Directors of Dart Enterprises, Dart Realty (Cayman) and Cayman Shores Development. Ken Dart is a board member of the Dart Foundation, which makes grants in support of youth education programs. The Dart Foundation also supports the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma, which is dedicated to informed, innovative and ethical news reporting on violence, conflict and tragedy.
